Common questions
With TX Accountants, you can check our credentials rather than simply take our word for it. We are an FCCA-led Chartered Certified Accountancy practice, an HMRC-authorised agent, registered with Companies House in England and Wales, and registered with the ICO.
Our prices and services are clearly published, with fixed fees agreed upfront and no hidden charges. You also benefit from direct access to your accountant by phone, email, or WhatsApp, rather than dealing with an impersonal ticketing system. With us, you know who is handling your accounts and exactly what you are paying for.
It runs in four steps, from anywhere in the UK. You get in touch, and a qualified accountant calls you back within one working day. Then we complete identity checks, take over from your previous accountant and set up your HMRC and Companies House authorisations.
Yes. Every client has a named accountant who understands their circumstances and can be contacted directly by phone, email, video call or WhatsApp — no call centres or ticket queues.
Our limited company packages include a dedicated Chartered Certified Accountant, and our practice is led by an FCCA-qualified accountant and HMRC-authorised agent.
Not sure whether you need to file a Self Assessment tax return? We’ll check for you, free of charge.
You can contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp, or video call.
Phone: 074 3200 6322, 020 3475 3540
We aim to respond to new enquiries within one working day, while existing clients can contact their dedicated accountant directly.
No. We offer transparent, fixed-fee pricing, so you know exactly what is included before any work begins. There are no hidden charges. Some costs are paid directly to third parties, such as the Companies House fee for a confirmation statement.
No. Our services are fully online, so you can work with us from anywhere in the UK. We use cloud accounting software, secure document sharing, phone, email, WhatsApp and video calls to make managing your accounts and taxes simple and convenient.
Absolutely. Switching accountants is straightforward, even in the middle of a financial year. Once you authorise us, we’ll contact your previous accountant to request professional clearance and transfer your accounting records. We’ll also arrange the necessary HMRC authorisations to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
Yes. You can upgrade or change your plan as your business needs evolve, such as when you register for VAT or start employing staff. We’ll always confirm any changes to your fees and services in advance.
If you wish to cancel, simply notify us in writing, and we’ll confirm your cancellation date and any outstanding work or fees in accordance with our terms and conditions.
You’ll need your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR), if you have one. Don’t worry if you’re unsure what to provide. We’ll send you a personalised checklist based on your circumstances so you know exactly what documents we need.
Our usual turnaround time is just two working days after receiving all the required information. More complex tax returns may take longer, but we’ll keep you informed of the expected completion date.
We monitor the HMRC and Companies House deadlines covered by your service and send timely reminders when we need your records or approval.
Simply provide the requested information promptly and forward any relevant HMRC or Companies House correspondence to us. We’ll help you stay organised and avoid unnecessary late-filing penalties.
Possibly. Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is being introduced in stages, depending on your qualifying income. If it applies to you, you’ll need to maintain digital records and submit quarterly updates using compatible software, as well as complete your year-end tax obligations.
We’ll explain what the changes mean for you and help you choose the right support.
