2. Website information is not personal advice
Website content is general information only. It is not accounting, tax, financial, investment, legal or other advice tailored to you, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice. Tax law, rates, thresholds, deadlines and guidance can change, and content may not reflect the latest position or your circumstances.
Using the website, sending an enquiry or booking an initial consultation does not by itself create an accountant-client relationship. We act for you only when we have agreed to do so in writing and any required onboarding has been completed.

The precise scope, fees, timing, responsibilities, assumptions, termination rights and liability provisions for professional services are set out in the applicable proposal, engagement letter or service agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Website Terms in relation to paid services, the specific agreement prevails.
4. Quotes and prices
Any website price described as “from”, indicative or fixed is subject to the stated package, eligibility, transaction volume, condition of records, complexity and agreed scope. A binding fee is the fee confirmed in writing for the engagement. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT where VAT is chargeable.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the website only lawfully. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malware, interfere with security or availability, scrape the website at unreasonable scale, use content fraudulently, impersonate another person, or submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing or misleading.
If you use a client portal or account, you are responsible for keeping credentials confidential, using appropriate security and promptly telling us if you suspect unauthorised access. Portal-specific terms may also apply.

We may update these terms. The version posted on the website applies from its stated revision date. Changes do not retrospectively alter an agreed professional engagement unless the engagement terms permit that change.
13. General legal terms
If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the remaining terms continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. No person other than you and TX Accountants Ltd has a right to enforce these terms under the Contracts Rights of Third Parties Act 1999.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts that apply to your home within the United Kingdom. If you are acting for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
