Who we help

Accounting built around the way your company works.

We support directors from incorporation through established trading. The right level of help depends on your filing duties, whether you employ people, whether you are VAT registered and how much ongoing guidance you want.

New limited companies

Start with the right registrations, records and accounting routine, with your first filing dates explained clearly.

Contractors and consultants

Keep company and personal finances separate, understand allowable business costs and plan how you draw income.

Growing owner-managed businesses

Add bookkeeping, VAT or payroll support as your turnover, team and reporting needs develop.

Directors switching accountants

Move your accounting records and authorisations with a managed professional handover.

How we help

The core work your limited company may need.

Every plan has a defined scope. Start with annual filing or choose ongoing help that includes the services relevant to your company.

Statutory company accounts

Every limited company must prepare annual statutory accounts. We turn your complete bookkeeping records into compliant accounts, explain the key figures and file them with Companies House.

Corporation Tax return

We use the final accounts to calculate the company’s taxable profit, claim relevant allowances and prepare the CT600 return for HMRC. You will know the Corporation Tax amount and payment date before the deadline.

Confirmation statement

We can prepare and file the annual confirmation statement where it is included in your plan. The Companies House fee may be separate.

Bookkeeping and software

Selected plans include cloud accounting software and support to keep transactions and records organised through the year.

VAT returns

VAT registration and Making Tax Digital returns are available with plans that include VAT support.

Payroll and director support

Payroll and PAYE submissions are available within the employee limit of the chosen plan, alongside practical director guidance.

Your company filing timetable

Different obligations. Different deadlines.

Corporation Tax payment and the Corporation Tax return are not due on the same date. Companies House filings and payroll also follow their own timetable. We help you understand which dates apply and what records are needed.

Timing

Obligation

What it means

Annual

Statutory accounts

Usually due at Companies House 9 months after a private company’s financial year-end.

9 months + 1 day

Corporation Tax payment

Usually payable to HMRC 9 months and 1 day after the accounting period ends.

12 months

Corporation Tax return

The CT600 is usually due 12 months after the end of the Corporation Tax accounting period.

Every 12 months

Confirmation statement

The review period normally runs for 12 months. The statement is then due within 14 days.

Quarterly (1 calendar month + 7 days)

VAT return & payment

Usually due 1 calendar month and 7 days after the end of your VAT accounting period for Making Tax Digital (MTD).

Each payday

Payroll reporting

A Full Payment Submission is normally sent to HMRC on or before employees are paid.

Monthly

PAYE payment

PAYE is usually paid monthly, generally by the 22nd when paying electronically. Some employers qualify to pay quarterly.

These are the usual deadlines for a UK private limited company. Your first accounts, a changed year-end, a longer accounting period or HMRC arrangements can affect the dates.

Why choose TX Accountants

More clarity. Less financial distraction.

Good company accounting should help you understand where you stand, what is due next and which questions need attention — without burying you in technical language.

Important dates stay visible

We track the filing dates covered by your engagement and request the information needed to complete the work.

Numbers you can understand

You receive a clear explanation of the accounts and tax position, not simply documents to approve.

Planning based on your circumstances

We can discuss salary and dividend options, business costs and likely tax payments using your actual figures.

Direct access to expert support

Ask questions by phone or online instead of waiting until the company year-end to raise an issue.

Trust, without the sales claims

Professional credentials you can verify.

TX Accountants is a Chartered Certified Accountancy practice, led by an FCCA accountant and authorised to act with HMRC. We do not publish anonymous praise or made-up results.
